free UK mainland delivery

Free delivery (Mon-Fri) is included on all orders. Your order will be delivered using a courier service within 4 weeks of ordering. Deliveries will be made Monday – Friday between 7am and 9pm. You will receive dispatch notification and delivery details by email. Once the order is dispatched the courier will liaise with you directly. All couriers operate a weekend premium delivery charge. Weekend and non mainland/overseas deliveries can be arranged but the excess and any further taxes and/or import fees must be paid by you once the delivery slot is confirmed. Premium Delivery with set up is subject to availability and a fee will be charged based on your location.

returns policy

Your furniture is made to order and materials will be bought and crafted to meet your specification. When you order you are paying for work to begin straight away. You are paying for my services as a furniture maker with access to materials to make the item(s) as described and customised for you. Because of this there is no right to cancel once the order is placed.  Read more about trading standards.

However, I understand that things sometimes change…

If you need to cancel your order please contact me by email (I need everything in writing) as soon as possible. If work has yet to start/no costs incurred, I’ll happily refund the full order less 10% of total. The 10% covers the faff.

E.g. Your order totals £1000 but you need to cancel. Work has yet to start and no costs have been incurred at the point I receive your email. I’ll refund £900.

If work has started/materials ordered I’ll happily refund the full order less 10% of total, plus costs incurred.

E.g. Your order totals £1000 but you need to cancel. I have incurred £500 of costs at the point I receive your email. I’ll refund £400.

If you have paid a deposit, the deposit is subject to the above terms. Balances must be paid within 7 days otherwise the deposit is lost.

E.g. Your order totals £1000 but you need to cancel. You have paid a deposit of £200. Work has yet to start and no costs have been incurred at the point I receive your email. I’ll refund £100.

E.g. Your order totals £1000 but you need to cancel. You have paid a deposit of £200. I have incurred £100+ of costs at the point I receive your email. Your deposit is lost.

Occasionally, delivery time frames change once the order is placed. You will be informed of this straight away and if the new time frame isn't acceptable you will be able to cancel your order. Likewise, the requested colour of Harris Tweed may be out of stock as Harris Tweed is a finite resource. If a suitable alternative can't be offered you will receive a full refund.

When your order is dispatched you will receive a link via email showing its condition as it is packaged. This is for strict, evidenced, quality control. You will also receive an assembly tutorial specific to your order. In the unlikely event your order leaves the workshop in a faulty condition, or a component is missing, I will remake, replace and redeliver the component(s). Please return any faulty components to me (I’ll provide instructions and cover costs).

Please provide digital photographic evidence by email within 24 hours of delivery.

NB: Your order may arrive in several packages.

damaged furniture on delivery

When your order is dispatched you will receive a link via email showing its condition as it is packaged. This is for strict, evidenced, quality control. You will also receive an assembly tutorial specific to your order. In the unlikely event your order is damaged in transit, I will remake, replace and redeliver the damaged component(s). Please return any damaged components to me (I’ll provide instructions and cover costs).

Please provide digital photographic evidence by email within 24 hours of delivery.

NB: As shown in the example images, the Birch has natural, beautiful variations that are accented and highlighted using beeswax. These natural patterns make your furniture unique.

NB: The above doesn’t cover damage or loss of components caused by you - please follow the assembly instructions carefully to avoid damage.

Please note wood, perspex and glass are easily scratched and caution should be taken to avoid damaging the furniture with clothing zips and buttons. Coasters should be used to prevent cups scratching and marking the furniture.
