Welcome to Baldwin James, the home of the bookthrone; a British made wooden and Harris Tweed, library armchair. Supported by the Prince's Trust, Baldwin James designs and makes beautiful, ethical, British furniture for your home and workspace. Furniture is made to order and customised to your specification. The bookthrone has popped up in Waterstones and featured at literary festivals. Only certified FSC British sourced wood and Harris Tweed are used and for every order a tree is planted. Baldwin James is proud to pay the Living Wage.
